Business Analyst Contractor - Transaction Monitoring

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Contractor to support a major Transaction Monitoring programme within a financial services environment.

The successful contractor will work closely with Financial Crime, Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Change stakeholders to gather requirements, improve processes, and support the delivery of effective transaction monitoring capabilities. A strong background in AML and KYC is essential.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on AML, KYC, or Financial Crime programmes.
• Strong knowledge of transaction monitoring processes, controls, and operating models.
• Experience working with compliance, operations, and technology stakeholders in regulated environments.
• Strong documentation skills across requirements, process mapping, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Experience supporting testing, implementation, and business readiness activities.
• Relevant financial crime or compliance certifications would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial crime or compliance change programmes, with strong knowledge of AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, and stakeholder management. Experience working on banking or financial services transformation initiatives will be highly advantageous.
